When an institution experiences a personnel change for a Watermark Administrator, the following steps support new administrators in understanding and completing software management tasks.
-
Contact the Client Success Manager (CSM): Notifying the CSM of major personnel changes helps maintain accurate stakeholder records. The CSM can provide additional options and training resources for new administrators.
Note: Administrators who do not know their assigned CSM can contact Watermark Support for assistance.
-
Utilize the Watermark Academy: The Watermark Academy Platform, managed by the Client Services Implementation Team, provides various training resources and learning materials for administrators.
The Academy offers the following options:
- Planning and Self-Study Implementation Path Mini-Courses - These courses train users on specific aspects of Watermark products.
- Planning and Self-Study Launch Success Kits - These free resource kits offer tools and best practices to help train campus end users.
- Product Consultant Training and Consultation Registration - Administrators can register for live sessions with a Product Consultant or coordinate with their CSM for additional training.
- Planning and Self-Study Webinar Catalog - This section contains upcoming and archived webinars.
- Watermark Administrator Certification Program - This intensive course allows administrators to validate their software expertise and earn a shareable social media badge.
-
Review the Watermark Help Center: The Watermark Help Center Knowledge Base displays articles by product and user role. Administrators can search and navigate this platform to resolve daily software management tasks.
Administrators can reach the Client Support Team by submitting a request through the online support web form or by opening the interactive support messaging widget on the screen.
- To receive automatic updates on new features, follow the Planning and Self-Study Release Notes Page. For complete instructions on setting up notifications, see the Stay Notified on Watermark Feature Releases Guide.
For support operation hours and standard communication channels, see the Contacting Watermark Customer Support Guide.
Requesting System Administrator Access

Managing System Administration access
Note: If the institution does not have an active System Administrator to submit this request, staff must contact the support team using the online support web form.
