Direct Integration with Ellucian Banner and Colleague

Direct integration between Course Evaluations & Surveys and Ellucian’s Banner and Colleague student information systems (SIS) provides the ability to pull courses, course sections, as well as student and instructor enrollments to setup course evaluations and general surveys.

NOTE: This feature is not enabled by default. Please contact our Support Team by logging into Help center for questions and consultation. If you are a new customer being implemented, please reach out to your Implementation Team for assistance.

Just like our LMS integrations, the Course Evaluations & Surveys-Ellucian integration will be easy to implement and will not require any coding from your IT team. You will be able to set up the connection once, then when you set up a new round of evaluations, refresh enrollments, or launch a survey, you will be able to do so with a quick search and the click of a button.

Below are some considerations and recommendations to take into account to decide if this integration is right for your institution:

  • If you manually download data into a .csv file from Banner or Colleague and then manually upload it into Course Evaluations & Surveys, then using this integration to establish a direct connection between Banner or Colleague and Course Evaluations & Surveys, thereby replacing the manual effort, is probably a good choice for your institution.
  • If you have been importing courses and enrollments to Course Evaluations & Surveys from your LMS, and that has been working well to meet your institution’s evaluation needs, we recommend that you continue to use this method.
