Allowing Account Access to Watermark Support

The Account Access feature allows you to grant temporary permission for the Watermark Support team to access your account to assist with troubleshooting. This feature ensures your data remains secure by requiring your explicit, time-bound consent before any access can occur.

Notes

  • Institutional Enablement: This feature must first be enabled by your institution's root administrator before it becomes available on your profile
  • Automatic Expiration: Once the selected duration ends, support access is automatically revoked

How to Grant Support Access

You can manage your personal support permissions within the Account Settings card on your Profile page

  1. Locate the Account Settings section on your profile and click the Grant Access
  2. Select your preferred access window in the flyout menu

    • Start Time and Date: This will default to your current date and time.
    • Access Duration: You must choose a duration of 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours.
  3. Confirm the active status. Your profile will now display the exact time and date that access is scheduled to expire. 
  4. Revoke access at any time by clicking "Remove Access Now" to immediately end the support session.
