Using File Manager in LiveText Features

Using File Manager in LiveText Features

LiveText users have a way to upload and manage files independently without having to create documents in the system. The File Manager allows users to upload and manage external files and images such as Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, and text files in one centralized location. Basic navigations in the File Manager allow users to manage, rename and/or delete files, as well as create and manage labels. This feature is located under the File Manager tab at the top of the screen.

Features Contain File Manager

When inserting files and images into your documents, you will always see consistent upload features. After clicking the general Browse button, File Manager features will display:

  • Uncategorized — Contains files not assigned a user-specified label.
  • Archives — Contains all of the attachments uploaded to documents prior to the availability of the File Manager.
  • Trash — Contains deleted files.
  • Manage Labels — Contains options for creating and deleting custom labels within the File Manager.
  • Upload Files/Images — Area for users to upload new files into the File Manager.
  • Cloud Import — Allows import of files from Dropbox
