Taskstream LAT Integration Information

User Access through Single Sign On (SSO)

Single Sign On can be established so that faculty and staff can access LAT by using their Institutional Username and Password. This is helpful so that faculty and staff do not need to manage a set of login credentials distinctly for LAT. LAT supports the following types of Single Sign On protocols: SAML, Shibboleth, Google Apps, CAS. These will be configured with the aid of an IT contact provided by the Institution. A Watermark Integration Specialist will work with the Institutional IT contact to give recommendations on what information should be imported, as well as provide a testing environment so that you can ensure that Single Sign On is established properly before establishing in the production environment. The documents below provide a step-by-step guide to setup Single Sign On.

SAML 2.0 (SSO) for Taskstream LAT and AMS
Google Apps SSO via SAML
Shibboleth 2.0 (SSO)
Central Authentication Server (CAS) SSO

User Access Through Learning Management System (LMS) Integration

Integration with an Institutional Learning Management System (LMS) can be established so that students and faculty can access LAT by clicking a link within the LMS. This integration must be established by an Institutional LMS Administrator. A Watermark Integration Specialist will work with the LMS Administrator to give recommendations on what information should be imported, as well as provide a testing environment to ensure that LMS integration is established properly before launching the integration in the production environment. The link below provides a step-by-step guide to setup LMS Integration.
