TS - Integration - Enterprise Data Hub (LMS)

The Taskstream Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) is a feature that allows an institution to get data from an external Learning Management system (LMS) into Taskstream for the purposes of streamlining the user experience between the LMS and Taskstream.

Currently, for the Blackboard, Moodle and Canvas systems, EDH leverages web services made available by the LMS to pull the data into Taskstream.  For other LMS systems such as Desire2Learn, Sakai, LearningStudio, etc., this data can be imported via a csv file.  The integration allows for auto account creation if the connecting user does not have a pre-existing Taskstream account and auto-enrollment into the Taskstream program, all with the click of a link embedded within the LMS course.  This level of automation removes the need to establish certain types of SIS integrations with Taskstream that previously required more effort to setup.  In addition, EDH also allows an institution to enable grade transfer from Taskstream back into the LMS grade book.
