Overview
Access and manage reporting options directly from the Reports menu in Faculty Success. This page displays the types of reports available to your account, which may include Full-Service Reports and Self-Service Reports based on your institution's configuration. These tools allow you to view and present your faculty activities to meet specific institutional or personal needs.
Full-Service Reports
Full-Service Reports are pre-built reports created by the Watermark team and made available to you by your institution. To learn how to run a Full-Service Report, see How to Run Full-Service Reports.
Self-Service Reports
If your institution has granted you the proper access, you can create custom reports by using the Create a New Report button in the Reports page. This opens a pop-up window with up to three available reports types, based on the tools your institution has enabled for you:
-
Blank Document Report: This report type allows you to
begin
with a blank document and selectively insert the activity data you would
like to include.
- Learn more: Creating a Report from your Activities.
-
Vita/CV Report: This report type uses a default template
that automatically pulls most of your activities from Faculty Success.
- Learn more: Creating a Report from your Activities.
-
Export Data Report: This report type allows you to extract
data from selected screens and fields into a CSV or XML file.
- Learn more: Creating an Export Data Report.
If you do not see the Create a New Report button and would like access to run Self-Service Reports, contact your institution to request access to this reporting functionality.
The Reports menu item is your starting point for accessing and customizing reports in Faculty Success. Whether you're using a pre-built template or creating your own, this feature allows you to view and present your activity data in ways that meet your institutional needs.
