Canvas LTI 1.3 Coursework Integration

Please follow the below instructions to insert a link in your Canvas portal that takes students and faculty to a specific account home page in Tk20.

  1. Log in to your Canvas faculty account and navigate to your Course home page

  2. Click +Assignment under Assignments left menu to add a new link.

  3. Enter a Title for your assignment
  4. Enter a point value

  5. Set Submission Type to External Tool
  6. Click Find
  7. Find the coursework placement type created by the admin and click Select. Make sure isapplication=coursework as query parameters at the end of the external tool URL, for coursework integration
  8. Check the box for Load This Tool In A New Tab

  9. Click Save & Publish
  10. Click Load [assignment name] in a new window

  11. A new tab will open where you will see the Tk20 screen if integration is successful.
