Validation Error: Schema [[dfs, root]] is not valid with respect to either root schema or current default schema.

Reported Issue

All Data Feeds are Out of Date and External Logging shows the same schema error on every data feed. After googling the error message, it appears to be related to something that is causing the drill service to be unable to write files to S3.

Error Message Details

VALIDATION ERROR: Schema [[dfs, root]] is not valid with respect to either root schema or current default schema.

Potential Resolutions

  • AWS Security changes are affecting the connectivity between the drill service and the server.
  • The Informer server Admin password is not set to "password never expires". In case something changed this setting, the admin password must be set to never expire on both the Connect (SS&E) server and the Informer server.
