Just curious if this was resolved. We had the same issue over summer and thought it was clear after Watermark worked on it. But in setting up the Fall courses we're noticing that the enrollment refresh is "completed with error" again.
Because I was in a time crunch, I copied the project and re-imported the courses unto the new project. This solved the problem. Note, we do not run any more enrollment refreshes after that, so the enrollment may have changed.
As I was creating the new project, Watermark tech offered me the solution of "re-importing the courses". Which seems as an easier solution than coping a project. Hope this helps!
Hello CES users, I have only recently come across this error although thankfully I had heard of it from the user group and thought to check ours prior to a scheduled Enrollment Refresh. I could clearly see enrollment differences between a fresh course import into a non-deployed newly created project (and other enrollment data sources) and did not want to send evaluations to students that are no longer enrolled. Ultimately I deleted all courses and reimported them. Even after doing that, I note that the scheduled refresh was Completed With Error once more. Since I have other projects deployed and getting the same error, I suppose I will re-import courses again for those projects unless there are other ideas to ensure I have the most accurate user list (Canvas is our LMS). I would be interested to know how others are handling this (I did start a ticket directly with Watermark) and whether it is still occurring for you.
I have been having the same issue now for the last few semesters. Unfortunately, Watermark has not been able to resolve this issue for me.
The way that I have been able to get away with this is by deleting all courses and re-importing them. I do this 3 times up to right before I deploy the project to make sure everything matches. As course evaluations are happening, I check for LOA students and remove them manually. I do not do any sort of refresh after deploying due to our integration with Canvas rather than Colleague.
I hope they are able to resolve this soon as it is time consuming and looks like a few of us are having the same issue.
Thank you kindly for sharing that experience and your process and procedures. I have concerns about course-level projects that have been deployed for some time, since I will not be able to delete courses and keep completed survey data for those dynamic (short) courses that have completed in the project. If this is ongoing, I believe I will re-think our deployment timeline. I appreciate your time!
