We just started our first full term project, Fall 2024 Course Evaluation, on Nov 25. It will end on Dec 13. We now running into the following two issues. Hope someone could give us some advise.
1. Hierarchy Mapping - We have some courses' Course Code begin with same Course Subject code across all divisions. One example is our Tutorial courses which offered by each of our academic divisions and their Course Code all begin with TUTR. We have total of 137 such courses. If only map instructor's email or name to the division. Administrators of that division won't see the result reports. If we map Course Code, it won't work as they are in every division. If we map by Course Unique Code, it will be too much manual input and not practical
2. Team Taught Courses - Some Team Taught courses' instructors are from different divisions. How should set the result report so all involved division can see the report?
Any suggestions and comments will be highly appreciated.
Hi Jinbo! I responded to this question in through the Support email you sent. We are happy to continue communicating there if you have any further questions.
We also have a complicated system. When mapping you can use more than one level, We use first Course Code/Begins with and then add another condition for Course unique ID/Ends with. You can use any of the operatives, such as contains. In our unique ID, the identifying mark is that it ends with the campus code.
As for the team taught courses, our courses primarily report to the department that owns the class and that is decided by the node. Secondarily, we report to the department that owns the instructor (faculty can teach outside their department) by uploading a remote location. Support can help you set that up.
