Ability for Placement Coordinators to resend notifications to mentors
Placement Coordinators can now resend notifications to individual mentors from the Mentor Teachers area. Situations such as the misplacement of placement notification emails or forgotten SLL login credentials can happen, and with this enhancement, they are a quick and easy fix.
Please Note:
- The Send Notification Email link would be displayed for a mentor only if they are associated with a student placement for at least one open internship section.
- The link in a placement notification email expires after 120 days of the section start date.
- If a mentor is associated with a student placement for a section for which Mentor Notifications have been switched off, the mentor is not sent any placement notification emails for that section.
Placement Coordinators can resend notifications to mentors from the Mentor Teachers area. They would also see the date when the mentor was last re-sent notifications.
Section filter cascades based on selection for Term filter
Placement Coordinators now have access to a more advanced filter on the Dashboard when trying to view and update placements. The section filter will display options based on the selection made for the Term filter, in addition to the Organizations filter currently in place. This enables Placement Coordinators to see only relevant filter options and simplifies the workflow so they do not have to try different filter combinations before actually being able to make or update placements.
