This release delivers the first in a series of updates to provide LTI 1.3-compliant LMS integrations. Plus, we added a new API endpoint so you can automate the creation of Admin users. ||
LMS Integrations
Single sign-on through LTI 1.3.
As the first step toward aligning our learning management system integrations with the latest Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standard, 1.3, we’ve released the ability to give users a static link in your LMS for them to use to access Course Evaluations & Surveys.
If your institution requires the use of LTI 1.3 today, please see these articles for more on how to configure this option in your specific LMS.
If your institution is successfully leveraging our User Integrations to give users survey notifications and dynamic links in your LMS, we recommend waiting, if possible, until we release LTI 1.3 updates to these User Integrations in the coming months.
REST APIs
A new API for creating Admin users.
With a new endpoint - Create Admin User - it’s now possible to automate the creation of Admin user accounts.
More information on this new endpoint can be found under “API > Documentation” in the Accounts tab in the system.
