Planning & Self-Study Release Notes for December 14, 2021

Highlight:

Introducing new enhancements to Watermark System Administration and a new person basic attributes import.

Enhancements to Watermark System Administration

System Administration is Watermark’s newest centralized module for integrating and managing core data from your student information system. Integration with this module is currently available to Planning & Self-Study only, but it will be integrated with other solutions within the next year.

If your institution is integrated with System Administration, you can experience improvement to the performance of file loading and accessibility within the People areas. Besides this, no major feature enhancements were released this month that impact Planning & Self-Study. If you are not yet upgraded to System Administration, you will be contacted soon regarding an upgrade and are currently performing this task in the Admin>Data Manager.

New Person Basic Attributes Import (not integrated with Planning & Self-Study at this time)

While not currently leveraged by Planning & Self-Study, System Administrators can import basic person demographics; the option appears when importing or exporting people. This capability was developed for institutions to use with the upcoming integration with Student Learning & Licensure, formerly known as Via. Watermark Student Learning & Licensure (SL&L) will release it’s integration with System Administration in the first half of 2022, with upgrades for existing
SL&L to be scheduled.

We will communicate in release notes when this import of Person Attributes is integrated with Planning & Self-Study. At this time, there are no immediate plans for this.
