Single Sign On can be established so that faculty and staff can access AMS by using their Institutional Username and Password. This is helpful so that faculty and staff do not need to manage a set of login credentials distinctly for AMS.
AMS supports the following types of Single Sign On protocols: SAML, and Shibboleth. These will be configured with the aid of an IT contact provided by the Institution.
A Watermark Integration Specialist will work with the Institutional IT contact to give recommendations on what information should be imported, as well as provide a testing environment so that you can ensure that Single Sign On is established properly before establishing in the production environment.
The links below provide guidance to setup Single Sign On:
Integration - SAML 2.0 (SSO)
TS - Integration - Shibboleth 2.0
