A core belief at Faculty Success is providing elegant and intuitive software. This includes making Faculty Success accessible to users working with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Faculty Success is committed to maintaining Section 508/WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance for all faculty-facing utilities. Section 508 is moving to adopting WCAG 2.0 success criteria as of January 18, 2018 (Source).
We’re proud of our investment in accessibility functionality including:
- Enhancing keyboard navigation
- Ensuring that tooltip information is available to assistive technologies
- Enabling assistive technologies to correctly read and access each area of the system
To help meet our goal of universal design, Faculty Success worked with accessibility specialists, following the internationally recognized best practices outlined in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA.
