2.9 Release Notes

Summary

The primary focus of this release was to address items that didn't make the 2.8 release but remained a high priority.

Miscellaneous

• Addressed a bug with event management whereby events could be created for a person who had the particular event type turned off in their settings.
• Permit jpeg file types to be uploaded to the documents tab.
• Corrected an issue when editing certain note types where the note type would not be shown in the note type dropdown.
• Updated course list on faculty dashboard to be based on course section start/end dates rather than term start/end dates.
• Permit First Week Attendance Alert to be configured to sent to online course sections.
• Allow selection of multiple courses when adding course exclusions in alert configuration.
• Ability to include/exclude course sections from course-based alerts.
• Fixed issue when uploading a document the filename is not shown in the text box.
• Corrected merged columns on the Alert Detail report for easier manipulation in Excel.
• Updated Current Grade alert to look at both online and non-online course sections.
• Creation of a Current Grade Achievement for use to congratulate students when their current grade is above a specific threshold.
